Church Ordinances

We believe that the ordinances were demonstrated and commanded by Jesus Christ, and are affirmed in the New Testament epistles. They by no means bring saving grace to any individual, but are observed in obedience by those who have already received salvation by grace through faith in Christ.

A. Baptism - We believe that biblical baptism is the immersion of a believer in water, symbolizing and identifying the believer with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
(John 3:16-17; Acts 8:36-39; Rom. 6:3-5; Col. 2:12; Matt. 28:19-20)

B. The Lord's Supper
- We believe that the Lord's Supper is the partaking of bread, symbolizing the broken body of Christ, and the cup, symbolizing the pouring out of Christ's blood for the world, as a remembrance of Christ's death until He comes again.
(Matt. 26:26-29; I Cor. 11:23-25; 10:16-17)
