| What we believe |
Our BeliefsBelow is a brief summary of what our church believes. For a more detailed account, you may request a doctrinal statement from the main office. The ScripturesWe believe that the Bible is the inerrant and inspired Word of God. For reasons of unity within the church and because of its proven textual reliability, we choose to use only the King James Version. Psalm 138:2, 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21 The TrinityWe believe that God is eternally existant as a trinity in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit - three Persons and yet one God. Genesis 1:2, 1:26, Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 3:16-17 SinWe believe that through Adam all mankind has fallen into sin, bringing physical as well as spiritual death, and eternal separation from God in an eternal Hell. Genesis 2:16, 3:16-19, Romans 3:1-23, 5:12, 6:23 SalvationJesus suffered and died as a substitutionary payment for man's sin. He was buried, rose again and ascended into Heaven. Turning from sin and putting faith in Christ is the only way of salvation for men and to gain access into Heaven. Romans 5:8-10, 10:9-13, 1 Peter 3:18, Acts 4:12 The End TimesWe believe in the pre-millenial and pre-tribulation return of Christ for all who have been saved. Matthew 24:29-42, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18, Revelation 19:11-20:13
